Pravila GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) provest će se od 25. svibnja 2018. godine. GDPR zamjenjuje Zakon o zaštiti podataka iz 1998. godine (DPA). Naknade za pristup podacima (SAR) bit će ukinute, a stručnjaci predviđaju ogromno povećanje SAR-a.

Što ako vaša organizacija pohranjuje sve relevantne informacije vezane uz GDPR na mikrofilmove, mikrofilmske i otvorene kartice. Ovi mikrofilmovi moraju se preuzeti i digitalizirati kako bi ih mogli dostaviti SAR zahtjevu.

How much personal GDPR information is being held on your microfilms?

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) rules are going to be enforced from May 25th 2018. GDPR replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA). Subject Access Requests (SAR) fees will be abolished, with experts predicting huge increases in SAR’s.

What if your organisation stores all of its’ GDPR relevant information on microfilms, microfiche and aperture cards. These microfilms must be retrieved and digitised to enable them to be delivered to the SAR requester.
